Mega Menu

Mega menu is possible in BS5 but we will need to create a custom template layout for the navigation widget. The following is a hard-coded example.

Font Awesome 6

FA6+ icons will work on all widgets.

The FMH Icon box will need a new version created because the styling is broken in Bootstrap 5 templates (this has nothing to do with FA).

FMH Icon Widget

Icons can now be used in Content blocks by pasting the HTML tags from www.fontawesome.com into the HTML editor.

Here are some new icons from Font Awesome 6

Accordion

This is the first item's accordion body. It is shown by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.

This is the second item's accordion body. It is hidden by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.

This is the third item's accordion body. It is hidden by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. Quality Control Review FAQ

Quality Control Review FAQ

What can an Insured do to prepare for a review?

Third party documentation (i.e. summary/settlement sheets from the elevator) is required when applicable and available. Insureds are expected to have available hard copy records that will 1) support the total production raised for the crop/county/year being reviewed and 2) that can demonstrate how production was kept separate between various units, practices and types (if applicable).

Insureds will also want make themselves available to meet with the quality control reviewer as the reviews will need to be completed before the claims can be processed.

What can Agents do to prepare for a review?

Agents can encourage their producers to begin assembling the production history documentation that will be necessary to complete the APH Review. Agents may also want to be sure all current year policy documents have been submitted to the FMH home office so that the Contract Review can be completed without delay.

How does the review process begin?

Once a claim is reported, FMH adjusters will be in contact with policyholders and/or agents. They will discern which policies will need a review and take the steps necessary to initiate these reviews. At that point FMH’s Compliance Field Specialist will oversee the review completion to ensure that all the components of the review are completed by objective and unbiased persons and according to RMA procedures.

Multi-Generational Agent-Farmer Relationship Highlights FMH Values

Jan 3, 2026, 11:13 by User Not Found
FMH has been run by the same family for over 125 years, and that family-oriented approach remains central to our values.

Many of our policyholders share this same foundation, maintaining long-standing, trust-based relationships with their FMH agents across generations.

That’s certainly true for FMH policyholder Sue Lorimor, whose family has farmed in southeast Iowa since 1855. Her family’s relationship with her FMH agent, Ben Campbell, and his family spans nearly a century.

The two families have lived in the same area since the early 1920s. Lorimor’s grandmother, Blanche, moved to the family farm in 1917 at age six and lived there for the next 80 years. Both families attended the same church and shared the story of Ben Campbell’s great-grandfather, Robert, who once defended Blanche’s right to play the church organ despite opposition from some church elders. “It was such a scandal that both of our families have passed on this story!” Lorimor said.

Lorimor inherited the family farm from her father, Jerry, and today her cousin Kris Miller and his son, Kyle, continue farming the land.

The Campbell family has worked with the Lorimor family for about forty years as their FMH crop insurance agents. Ben Campbell’s aunt, Judy Campbell, sold crop insurance to Lorimor’s father and cousin, and his uncle, John Campbell, has sold Pioneer corn and soybean seed to them since the late 1980s. When FMH agent Judy Campbell retired in 2011, Ben Campbell became a crop insurance agent, taking over Campbell Insurance Agency in Hedrick, Iowa, in 2013.

“I appreciate working with Sue because it’s fascinating to see how our families’ histories connect,” said Ben Campbell. “It was rewarding to help her secure Beginning Farmer and Rancher (BFR) benefits to save her some premium when she inherited her dad’s farm.”

Campbell has also enjoyed getting to know Lorimor’s cousin, Kris Miller, who has expressed how he appreciates the service FMH provides. “A few years ago, RMA randomly audited one of his corn yields,” he said. “It was reassuring to know we could get it resolved quickly with help from my FMH underwriter, Lyn Bell.”

Lorimor and Ben Campbell’s working relationship epitomizes the importance of teamwork and collaboration – values Lorimor says she appreciates from growing up on a family farm.

"You can’t move a farm, and you can’t pick your neighbors. You have to know that working together is key." - Sue Lorimor, FMH Policyholder

That spirit of partnership extends to her connection with Ben Campbell. “Working with someone who has a long connection to a community is special – Ben and I both know how important that is,” she said. “I appreciate that Ben knows the area and provides great help and support as my FMH agent.”
