Mega Menu

Mega menu is possible in BS5 but we will need to create a custom template layout for the navigation widget. The following is a hard-coded example.

Font Awesome 6

FA6+ icons will work on all widgets.

The FMH Icon box will need a new version created because the styling is broken in Bootstrap 5 templates (this has nothing to do with FA).

FMH Icon Widget

Icons can now be used in Content blocks by pasting the HTML tags from www.fontawesome.com into the HTML editor.

Here are some new icons from Font Awesome 6

Accordion

This is the first item's accordion body. It is shown by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.

This is the second item's accordion body. It is hidden by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.

This is the third item's accordion body.

Quality Control Review FAQ

Quality Control Review FAQ

What can an Insured do to prepare for a review?

Third party documentation (i.e. summary/settlement sheets from the elevator) is required when applicable and available. Insureds are expected to have available hard copy records that will 1) support the total production raised for the crop/county/year being reviewed and 2) that can demonstrate how production was kept separate between various units, practices and types (if applicable).

Insureds will also want make themselves available to meet with the quality control reviewer as the reviews will need to be completed before the claims can be processed.

What can Agents do to prepare for a review?

Agents can encourage their producers to begin assembling the production history documentation that will be necessary to complete the APH Review. Agents may also want to be sure all current year policy documents have been submitted to the FMH home office so that the Contract Review can be completed without delay.

How does the review process begin?

Once a claim is reported, FMH adjusters will be in contact with policyholders and/or agents. They will discern which policies will need a review and take the steps necessary to initiate these reviews. At that point FMH’s Compliance Field Specialist will oversee the review completion to ensure that all the components of the review are completed by objective and unbiased persons and according to RMA procedures.

A Tradition of Giving

Jun 20, 2025, 13:01 by User Not Found
FMH is celebrating two big charitable giving milestones this year: 30 years of supporting Breakthrough T1D and 20 years of supporting the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Learn what makes these organizations so special to FMH and our employees.

Breakthrough T1D, formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), is a nonprofit founded in 1970 to accelerate life- changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat Type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications. The organization invests in research and advocacy to help those with T1D live fuller, healthier lives.

Since 2001, FMH has donated over $684,157 to Breakthrough T1D in addition to employee contributions. FMH is also a presenting sponsor of the Breakthrough T1D Walk, held annually each spring near FMH’s Home Office in the Greater Des Moines, Iowa area.

I have been a Type 1 diabetic myself for 23 years now, so this organization is near and dear to me! Breakthrough T1D has made great strides with their research and technology and is so close to finding a cure.
- Sandy Bergman, AVP Agile Portfolio

In 2019, our son Jackson was diagnosed with T1D at the age of two. The disease is very manageable, but it’s also something I hope no other child or adult has to go through just to live their life. It is awesome to work for a company like FMH that gives so much of their time and money toward helping find a cure for T1D!
- Denny Kuennen, BI Data Quality Supervisor
Three years ago, my oldest granddaughter, Charleigh, was diagnosed with T1D. Through the generous support of donors like FMH and its employees, we raise money to support research with the hope that those we love don’t have to go through what my granddaughter goes through on a daily basis.
- Becky Paterson, AVP - Legal & Compliance

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the top charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants in the U.S. and around the world, with more than $356 million raised since 2005. The organization coordinates its signature head-shaving events around the world, giving volunteers the opportunity to “rock the bald” in solidarity with kids fighting cancer.

FMH became involved with St. Baldrick’s in 2006, when the first FMH head-shaving event raised $29,998 for childhood cancer. Since then, FMH’s annual event has grown in size, attendance, and money raised year over year. FMH is proud to have raised over $1.6 million total for St. Baldrick’s. In 2024, FMH President & CEO Shannon Rutledge was appointed to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation Board of Directors.

My wife and I have been steadfast supporters of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. As parents, grandparents, and as a cancer survivor myself, we believe that every child deserves a future full of possibilities, health, and hope.
- Pat Faga, EVP - Chief Marketing Officer
Worldwide, a child is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes, and FMH team members have felt the weight of this firsthand. That’s why I’m so proud of our team’s work for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and proud to sit on the St. Baldrick’s Board of Directors myself.
- Shannon Rutledge, President & CEO
Twenty years ago, we were approached with the crazy idea of holding a head shaving event to raise money for St. Baldrick’s. To our relief and amazement, the event was a lot of fun and we raised $30,000! For me, this was the perfect opportunity to give back and help with further research.
- Renée Walters, Reinsurance Operations Supervisor
