Mega Menu

Mega menu is possible in BS5 but we will need to create a custom template layout for the navigation widget. The following is a hard-coded example.

Font Awesome 6

FA6+ icons will work on all widgets.

The FMH Icon box will need a new version created because the styling is broken in Bootstrap 5 templates (this has nothing to do with FA).

FMH Icon Widget

Icons can now be used in Content blocks by pasting the HTML tags from www.fontawesome.com into the HTML editor.

Here are some new icons from Font Awesome 6

Accordion

This is the first item's accordion body. It is shown by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.

This is the second item's accordion body. It is hidden by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.

This is the third item's accordion body. It is hidden by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. Quality Control Review FAQ

Quality Control Review FAQ

What can an Insured do to prepare for a review?

Third party documentation (i.e. summary/settlement sheets from the elevator) is required when applicable and available. Insureds are expected to have available hard copy records that will 1) support the total production raised for the crop/county/year being reviewed and 2) that can demonstrate how production was kept separate between various units, practices and types (if applicable).

Insureds will also want make themselves available to meet with the quality control reviewer as the reviews will need to be completed before the claims can be processed.

What can Agents do to prepare for a review?

Agents can encourage their producers to begin assembling the production history documentation that will be necessary to complete the APH Review. Agents may also want to be sure all current year policy documents have been submitted to the FMH home office so that the Contract Review can be completed without delay.

How does the review process begin?

Once a claim is reported, FMH adjusters will be in contact with policyholders and/or agents. They will discern which policies will need a review and take the steps necessary to initiate these reviews. At that point FMH’s Compliance Field Specialist will oversee the review completion to ensure that all the components of the review are completed by objective and unbiased persons and according to RMA procedures.

FMH Precision Solutions Increases Accuracy and Saves Premium for Iowa Agent-Farmer

Aug 23, 2024, 14:05 by Elise Hepker
Read how one agent-farmer experienced the benefits of FMH Precision Solutions in his own operation.

With FMH Precision Crop Insurance Solutions™, farmers can use the precision ag data they’re often already collecting for electronic reporting and claims. With more accurate data, farmers insure exactly what they plant, potentially increasing APH and reducing premium.

This past spring, Iowa agent and policyholder Josh Williams experienced these benefits of Precision Solutions firsthand on his own 400-acre farm. He worked with FMH Precision Tech Specialist Cole Olson, who went on farm with Williams to help him collect raw monitor data for his acreage report.

Using precision, the acres reported for one of Williams’ fields was 15-20 percent lower than his FSA acres.

“By gathering the data from the monitor and accurately collecting the actual number of acres planted, I saved about 30 acres of premium for the field,” Williams said.

According to Olson, many farmers experience this benefit with precision – not just on one field, but many fields throughout their farms. “When you expand this benefit to his whole operation, you’re looking at major savings in premium, since you’re insuring exactly what you plant,” he said.

Williams praised the level of service FMH provides to agents and farmers. “I was impressed by the customer service, and the fact that they came to the farm in person to help collect data,” he said. “I greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with FMH.”

In addition to his own positive precision experience, Williams’ customers have noted the benefits of putting the precision ag data they’re already collecting to work in other areas. “They already use precision and GPS, so they might as well use it for crop insurance too,” he said. “It provides more accurate and precise information, not only to FMH, but for the insured. It can help increase their APH and decrease their premiums. It’s a win-win for all.”
