Mega Menu

Mega menu is possible in BS5 but we will need to create a custom template layout for the navigation widget. The following is a hard-coded example.

Font Awesome 6

FA6+ icons will work on all widgets.

The FMH Icon box will need a new version created because the styling is broken in Bootstrap 5 templates (this has nothing to do with FA).

FMH Icon Widget

Icons can now be used in Content blocks by pasting the HTML tags from www.fontawesome.com into the HTML editor.

Here are some new icons from Font Awesome 6

Accordion

This is the first item's accordion body. It is shown by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.

This is the second item's accordion body. It is hidden by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.

This is the third item's accordion body. It is hidden by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. Quality Control Review FAQ

Quality Control Review FAQ

What can an Insured do to prepare for a review?

Third party documentation (i.e. summary/settlement sheets from the elevator) is required when applicable and available. Insureds are expected to have available hard copy records that will 1) support the total production raised for the crop/county/year being reviewed and 2) that can demonstrate how production was kept separate between various units, practices and types (if applicable).

Insureds will also want make themselves available to meet with the quality control reviewer as the reviews will need to be completed before the claims can be processed.

What can Agents do to prepare for a review?

Agents can encourage their producers to begin assembling the production history documentation that will be necessary to complete the APH Review. Agents may also want to be sure all current year policy documents have been submitted to the FMH home office so that the Contract Review can be completed without delay.

How does the review process begin?

Once a claim is reported, FMH adjusters will be in contact with policyholders and/or agents. They will discern which policies will need a review and take the steps necessary to initiate these reviews. At that point FMH’s Compliance Field Specialist will oversee the review completion to ensure that all the components of the review are completed by objective and unbiased persons and according to RMA procedures.

(West Des Moines, Iowa) – Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa (FMH) has entered its 125th year as an American-based, family-run insurance provider.

One of the oldest crop hail insurers in the United States, FMH was founded on the need to protect the livelihoods of farmers from the devastation of severe weather to crops. The company will celebrate its 125th anniversary in March of 2018.

“We’re very proud to be entering our 125th year of business,” said President and CEO Ron Rutledge. “We could not have made it this long without the trust of generations of farmers, commitment from independent insurance agents, support of our reinsurers, and dedication of our employees both in the office and field.”

Since its inception in 1893, FMH has remained committed to providing farmers with comprehensive risk management solutions by expanding its lines of business and reach to a national service area. Current operations include private and federal crop insurance, reinsurance products and services, as well as farm and ranch insurance.

“Farmers Mutual Hail continues to thrive entering our 125th year because of our mutual heritage that puts the policyholders first, because of the conservative management which has spanned six generations, and because of the continuous commitment of our employees who are proud to be a part of the FMH family,” said Rutledge.

In an environment of increasing foreign buyouts, FMH champions its mutual company structure as an asset that will preserve its legacy as an American owned and operated business, making FMH proud to call itself “America’s Crop Insurance Company.”

“Crop insurance is – and has always been – our main business. As others were leaving the industry, we invested in it by purchasing John Deere Insurance Company, further proving our commitment to protecting farmers,” added Rutledge.

The 2015 acquisition of John Deere Insurance Company also allowed FMH to enter the precision ag space by offering Precision Crop Insurance Solutions, which provide farmers the ability to use precision data for crop insurance claims adjustments and required reporting.

“Change is inevitable and like all companies, Farmers Mutual Hail has embraced the endless change that every company goes through to continue to be successful,” said Rutledge. “But even with all of the changes that have occurred over the last 125 years, FMH has held on to the things that make it unique like our family atmosphere and our commitment to doing things right.”
