Who should attend:  Newly appointed agents or individuals in the process of being licensed, as well as existing agents who would like a refresher course covering various topics related to the sale and service of MPCI policies.

Why you should attend: This course is beneficial for both new and existing agents as it covers a variety of topics that are integral in guiding insureds and administering the MPCI policy. The course will walk you through the basics of the policy and provide interactive scenarios to help you apply what you learn to your book of business.

What you will learn:

  • Understand the basics of how the MPCI program functions
  • Learn about the many important features ranging from unit structure, policy coverage, reporting requirements, compliance and much more.
  • How to guide your insureds when making policy decisions critical to their operation.

Course Requirements & Continuing Education (CE)

New Agents are required to complete 12 hours of comprehensive training prior to selling or servicing MPCI policies. This course will allow you to meet that criteria.

Successful course completion for new agents includes:

  • Attendance and participation in the entire MPCI 101 Course
  • 35 question competency exam with a passing percentage of 70% or greater

Existing Agents who have not completed an MCPI 101 course offering within their renewal period may participate and receive 12 hours of CE in approved states.

*Participants are required to attend the entire course to receive CE credit in approved states.
