Is Margin Protection the Right Coverage Option?

Margin Protection is now available in more than 1,000 new counties for corn and soybeans beginning with the 2024 crop year.

The USDA RMA announced the product expansion last March in response to growing producer interest.

SALES CLOSING DATE

The 2023 Margin Protection Sales Closing Date (SCD) for corn, soybeans, and spring wheat is Monday, October 2, 2023.

  • All Margin Protection applications must be signed by this date.
  • Agents have until October 17, 2023, to key and submit Margin Protection applications in the FMH Agent Center (FMHA).
