Ag Brokerage Solutions is pleased to announce the launch of its new Excess and Surplus (E&S) program specifically created for farm and ranch operators. The program was created to meet the increased demand for more insurance coverage options in farming communities across America, and it’s only available through ABS.
“When we launched ABS two years ago, we found that a lot of farm and ranch operations were turned down for coverage because of certain risk profile characteristics, explained Brent Walker, FMH Chief Brokerage Officer and ABS Executive Vice President. “We developed our non-admitted solutions to bring coverage to those who can't find it elsewhere and made is specifically for the ag industry.”
Currently available in 47 states, ABS combines E&S capabilities with admitted type property and casualty coverages to provide farm, ranch and equine accounts. ABS will also be expanding its options to provide commercial agriculture products for small- to medium-sized agribusiness accounts.
“E&S policies allow for more freedom with rate and form, allowing us the ability to consider accounts that might not fit the defined underwriting box put forth by standard markets,” added Walker. “Developing our own E&S program puts us in a unique position to work hand in hand with agents needing help to support their customers.”
