FIRE/VANDALISM/THEFT/MALICIOUS MISCHIEF/CERTAIN PERILS WHILE IN TRANSIT

 

Definition:
While crops are in the field or in transit they shall be covered for the following perils without additional premium:

Fire
Theft

Vandalism and Malicious Mischief

Overturn

Collision

 

Stipulations:

Payment shall be made on the insured value not to exceed the actual cash value.

Transit losses will be covered within a 100 mile radius.

Must be in your care and custody.

Vandalism losses and malicious mischief losses must be a minimum of $50 in order for payment to be made.

 

Example:

If 5 acres are destroyed due to fire, the following loss payment would occur:

5 acres x $200 (insured value per acre) = $1,000 payment


Insured value cannot exceed the actual cash value. If it does, Farmers Mutual Hail pays the actual cash value of the crop on the date of loss.
